If you'll note, the UK sits just a ticker north of Whistler, but other than that we exist in similar circumstances, northwest coast of the continent on the eastern edge of an ocean. Our weather tends to be quite similar, rain most of the winter, snow a couple of times in the winter (in the lowland coastal cities that is, the mountains get dumped on) and it is to be hoped, a few weeks or months of pretty sweet weather in the summer. I think UK and southern B.C/NW Washington weather is fairly comparable.

Just got back from a perfect night ride- couple flakes of snow, crunchy on the logging road climbs... now, watching this slideshow makes me want to lube the chain and head back out... Need to recharge the batteries first...

Hey - just seen this! Won't argue with the lattitude, but it seems and feels that we in the UK get more of the wet stuff (remember bemoaning the weather is a national pastime!). Trust that ride went well my man.

Me too. Two weeks and only a few days dryness. I've never been so depressed. The problem with the Morzine mud is that s**t sticks. An hours riding and you weighed twice as much as when you started.
